It was my "little" brother's birthday this weekend. He turned 19. . yeah he is 19. When did that happen? So we had a little get together and got him Rockband.. which Eli thoroughly enjoyed. He is basically guitar pro already. Kris is pretty stellar on lead vocals as you can see. I love how you can see my dad's admiration for Piper in his eyes... to me, catching something like that is what a good photo is all about. I love the evening light in the picture with Beckett. It looks so natural. My dad has some awesome corn in his yard that me and Oliver were playing peek a boo in. Pictures are so much more than photoshop and great light (which I know nothing about.) They are about the stories behind them.
We had a pretty quiet weekend other than the little gathering and the Farmer's Market (the box is symbolic of that experience). Lex and I met baby Jarek and Ashley was fabulous in the true fashion that my gals entail. The Carroll's are still in Alaska and we miss them dearly. I mean, who would want to be taking pictures in a bear camp rather than babysitting our kids and letting us eat their food and mess up their house??? So the weekend was very quiet. As is this post. Now it's time to gear up for another week. Sunday nights are rough for me. I dislike them very much. This week I really have to kick up my workouts because I have hit a wall. So I have to reach up and over the wall and I am pretty sure it has sticker vines all over it or something of the sort because I sort of just feel discouraged. ANyWAy....

Hi Toni! I'm glad I can finally look at your blog, Alexis always has told me what a great photographer you are, and she was right! Your kids are adorable! I can't believe how big your little boy is. Anyway, thanks for letting me peek =)
Oh my, Miss Toni. How I have dreamt of the day when your blog would be released to the world, and not only to those invited. I didn't know you had 2 kids!!? What the... are we old enough to have kids?! Anyway, they are adorable, but so is their momma. P.S. Remember that one time when we ran into each other at Disneyland? That was weird. I think that was the last time I saw you... and over THREE years ago!
Rock Band is the best!!!!! I got Ry Rock Band for Father's Day and we spend most family nights doing this:). Jax gets the microphone, I am our drummer, and Ry is the guitarist. Yeah, I know, we have no lives:). I love reading your blog...always interesting with lots of stuff that makes me think (I need to do a little more of that).
You seem to catch these moments in photos very well! Sharstin watch out...you might have some competition! (love ya!) Rock band is quite fun for the whole fam! That is Tay's favorite thing to do with us!
GReat Photos! Way to develop your talent! LOVE IT!
Awesome pics Ton, but I've come to expect nothing less! Thanks for coming for a lil' visit :) It was great to see you guys! I love how all the visits help the hospital time go so much quicker! Looks like you've been staying busy- how do you do this 2 kid thing again!!?!? :) ha!
