This are recent happenings from my phone. It is a pretty good tale of what I am up to. I am constantly taking pictures to send to Jake at work or my brother.
Here is miss diva Piper at the Hello Kitty store. Need I say anything??
Piper going to preschool the other day.
Yes I let her leave the house like this. You might notice in these two pictures her BRIGHT BLUSH, and totally inconvenient shoes, but hey.. a girl's gotta look good.
This was me FINALLY getting the keys to our house after waiting a whole day. I took this to send to Jake and rub it in :)
Working on the house.....

This is my dad. My real dad. I share this picture with endearment. This is him, cowboy up, cigarette, wranglers and all-who says that it looks like Disneyland had an orgasm on the walls in my house. -Hey he has a good point.

Something For The Boy
I have been wanting to make Beck a quilt for some time and he saw this car, truck, firetruck, material and said, "wan buy this." What do you do? So the material isn't necessarily what I would have picked, but if there is one thing Piper has taught me it's that my taste and my kids' will probably never be the same. Now I know why my mom thinks I am crazy for 99% of the stuff I pick out for my house. Especially my paint choices :)I was down right DREADING the reveal to her.
Notice the thifted sheet (that my mom thought I was crazy for wanting.."what would you make with that??") Um hello what wouldn't I make? I am pretty sure one of my grandmas had it on their beds at one point in their life! I am a mission to make Jake nuts with as many flowers in our house as possible :~ "That's fine, as long as it's not flowery...." Good thing you can't send or take fabric back....Oh how I love him. I will be happy to have this house adjustment finished so I can actually see him for more than an hour tonight. (I like to call it an adjustment because you don't necessarily REmodel a brand spanken new house..you just adjust it.)
We saw each other twice in the day though.. once at a warehouse to look for lights and faucets, and once at Home Depot. How romantic.
Still hoping to move in this weekend. Fingers crossed.
I really like the back and it's geometricness. I am happy with how that turned out.

Nothing Important
Well another day of hanging out with the kids while Jake works on the house. Definitely funner to be remodeling a house when you don't have kids so you can participate. But it seems as though we will be in next weekend, so that is good.
These are all the girls' kids (picture stolen from Ash).
And we are increasing this by six by August.
That means it will almost doubled. It's really fun being pregnant with the majority of my besties. Really, it's crazy there are so many friends that are pregnant. Summer play dates will just be nursing social hour.
This is my cat, hanging out in the sink while I got ready. A little weird? I then put Beck up by him so he could pet him and he really wanted to turn the water on. But it's always nice to have SILENT company while you get ready.

That's really all I have to say. I have still been making a lot of stuff for my house. Mostly blankets, I think it's the nesting bug in me. I have about 20 projects to finish before we move out next weekend while I have access to a sewing machine. Maybe I will feel motivated to photograph them, I like that I have caused another person to sew (Kristen you will have to show me, and when I get back home we can have sewing playdates).

Happy Birthday to my radical husband!
He is freaking awesome and deserves a great birthday. And a great every other day of the year too, so I am not sure why he is married to me...
