Well we had a nice, hot, somewhat relaxing night in Burley Idaho. If you didn't already know Burley pretty much rocks. I mean with the seed plants, and the farms, the fancy mainstreet with all the great restaurants, and all the cool tractors. The drive there was the best part. I just love seeing all the wheat fields and dry hills.
So don't judge my pictures, they suck. But I think I captured the true essence of the day. With Jake and my awesome sister in law, Jen's, excitement about the race. They both did amazing and concurred. It was Jen's birthday and she turned the big 3-0, thus the photo. I can't think of a better thing for her to be doing to ring in the thirties. I hope I am doing something just as monumental. I better start training now...
Then there was the poodle, with pink hair extensions..???
And the man with the wrinkles.....

My grandma lives in Burley, and I know that guy in the orange shorts! Just kidding, but that'd be funny. Except my grandma really do live there. Awesome, I know. It just so happens that I love your pictures, and I don't think they suck. Especially the biker shorts crotch shot!!
What a great day... that sis in law of yours looks so tough and sleek in those shiny shorts. (Okay they are scary) I couldn't have asked for better company on my big
3-0! I love your pictures, Jake does look like a stud.
I did a half ironman in Burley last year - and rockin just doesn't sum it up right. I almost fell asleep on my bike I was bored.
Love the pics!! It looks like the triathletes had a great day! That is an awesome way to ring in your 30th birthday.
I read about the guy that drowned...so sad!!!!
Way to go Jake! That is awesome, and I think your picts are great!
Yeah, I was confused for a second I thought you were referring to the wrinkly man as your "studman" haha
