1 1/2 C. cooked chickpeas (cooked from dry or canned, drained) this is one regular size can
3 TBSP tahini
2 TBSP vegetable oil
1 TBSP olive oil I USE ALL OLIVE OIL, NO VEGI OIL !!
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1/8 tsp salt, or to taste
Place all ingredients in a food processor, process until pureed.
Thanks Kate for this recipe, it is really good. A few of you out there are fans of the hummus and so I thought I'd post it. It's better than the infamous Costco kind in my non humble opinion. So maybe it will help those pregnant cravings :)

OOOoooh I lurve the hummus, I will have to give it a try.
"My non humble opinion"...HA HA, you crack me up!
I have never had hummus. The name turns me off. Hummus...just not one of those words that scream yummy dip. I'll have to try it sometime. I'll just rename it.
Okay I came to leave my memories for you! I thought for sure you would include driving around at midnight with underage drivers after taking NO-Doz, getting pulled over and getting grounded for weeks! I don't think you got grounded, but that was a crazy night! What were we thinking? Also, the night at Lex's house where we crimped our hair and took pictures, BATAL, no-bake cookies in Britts kitchen, all the sleepovers, and yes I remeber every one of those names we made up that night in my room.
I don't even know what chickpeas or tahini is. That shows you how domestic I am.
