Yeah I know I haven't posted. Busy, busy, busy. But I did have a really good night last night. I went to my first meeting of my new book club, the last one-whatever happened to that ladies?? Anyway although I didn't get to finish the book all the way I went anyway and it was very refreshing. One thing I really loved first off is getting to sit and have REAL conversation. With girls even. It was awesome. We sat and talked about our thoughts about this book (The Red Tent by Anita Diamant) and went off on tangents about our lives and experiences. It has been such a long time since I sat and talked with other girls (no offense to anyone) about something other than daily tasks, children, husbands, church calling, gardens, cleaning house, or whatever the on surface subject is. I mean, what can be expected, let's be honest we can't just sit down on the phone with blabbering toddlers on one ear and our best friend on the other and expect to really ponder our lives together. So that was what was so beautiful about the night, good conversation, smart educated girls with interesting things to say and the discovery that I really like hummus. Also I loved that it brought a bunch of girls together, who otherwise would not hang out together. I am looking forward to the next one and luckily will have this 6 week long class out of the way so I can finish the stinking book and stop learning about marriage as an interpersonal relationship.

I agree! I had such a good time. It was so good to finnaly see everyone. I felt like you and I hadn't seen eachother for a while. It was nice to be away from the babies and enjoy the good conversation. Isn't reading Great!I never liked to read much before. I read my school books but didn't really enjoy it. I finally read the Stephanie Meyer books in December and then I just wanted more. I love to read now. My sister and I keep swapping good books and I just Finished "The Host" last night, I loved it! I think I liked it better than the Twilight series. It bugs me so bad when I tell someone "You have to read this book..." and they say, "Oh I really don't like to read." Becasue I know just what they are missing from their lives. I used to be narrow-minded like them. But no, I Love that Lindsay started the book club. It gives me some much needed time for myself. Thanks Tony for inviting me to your Blog, it's adorable!
