This post is inspired by Kenzie, my friend and sewing buddy, look at her cute quilts here. (hopefully you don't care I linked you?)I am super proud of her because she would see my sewing projects and say, that looks hard.. and low and behold.. she is flying solo!
So here is some stuff that has touched my sewing machine in the last few months. Pillows that are constantly being updated (me and my flowery fabric addiction), my favorite quilt, and one for my dear fried that had a baby. I have been making a lot of clothes, they are a challenge for me but super fun and rewarding, especially when Piper wears them 4 days in a row (I have no pictures).
So let's see, what else is going on?
I have had a stomach virus on and off for almost a week, that has sucked big time. My fabulous lover boy has been crazy busy making our yard, well, yard-ish. So that is spectacular. We have plants and trees and dirt. Who knew you could have those this far west! I have lots of edible plants growing in my kitchen I am terrified to move outside. Any tips? Piper started playing soccer last week and she really liked it. I was super nervous since when she first saw the uniform she said with her nose wrinkled, "I am NOT wearing THAT." But she likes it, hallelujah! Indie is old, that is crazy. I found rice cereal, formula and her bottles, both of which she used like twice and couldn't bring myself to take them out of the cupboards. I am in denial that she isn't a baby :)So they will stay in the cupboards a little longer.

I wish I had the sewing bug. I have tons of fabric and I don't even care to sew with it. :(
I am coveting your couch pillows. I really need to learn how to work a sewing machine, isn't that terrible?! I hope you're feeling better.
