Here is a look into our windows.
And a little history and reason into our new house.
Since the price tag of a new house doesn't really leave room for my infamous expensive taste I have had to improvise. I tend to like things that are different and because of that-the most expensive. That's the great thing about sewing, you can make things that are you instead of having to shop around for exactly what you like which usually is the most expensive thing, in my case. So here is our house, as good as it's gonna get for awhile. There is still some bareness, empty walls, and uncurtained windows, but ya know.. what do you do.
Anyway.. here is the girls' room. We are ready for you baby. Doesn't that crib look more comfortable then my abdomen???????
That small chair was my grandma's when she was a little girl as well as Piper's bed. My mom used them as well.
I almost have Piper's semi matching quilt done for her bed. I have this theory that once I get both of their bed quilts done I can have the baby. It's the one thing that I "have" to have done before she comes. So.. I am going to quilt it and bind it tonight. And possibly stay up all night hand sewing it-just to test my theory.
Pictures I love and talked Piper into loving them. Love the skull on the girl's arm, you know me and skulls.
My first diaper cake!!! Made by Lexis. I love it.
Also note the knitted beanie and flower by Kim (who is having twins TOMORROW!)
Here's Beck's room. Empty picture frames waiting for great pictures to be found.
A wall waiting for some cool piece of furniture...
You can't see the curtains but they have road signs on them, and my mother in law is making a cute matching blanket with all these vintage looking cars, it's going to be cute.
Our bedroom is the least decorated.
My grandma's old dresser that matches the set :)
These are one of my favorite things to make, these rugs. So useful. This bench lived at my grandma's for my whole life. She would sit on it while she gave us baths and we'd use it to wash our hands and brush our teeth.
This mirror may or may not still have a savers tag on it. I'll go take it off now.
Another rug that Jake says looks like came from his grandma's house :)

I love how many sentimental things you have in your house! It looks great and can't wait to see it. Hope your appt went well and that you will be at dinner next week lol!!!
SO beautiful! You have an excellent eye for design :) {I'm sure I have already told you that.}
My favorite part: how it doesn't look like a new house...in a good way. You've just done a fantastic job!
It all LOOKS so GOOD...and even better in person (if that is possible). And yes....I too love how you took a brand spanking new house and put your Toni stamp on it. So unique, so perfectly YOU!
Your house is so darling! I love how creative you are and how you use so much color! See you in a few days!
