This first picture is a pretty good documentation of the last while of this pregnancy spanning to the end. Eating and sewing, I mean, what else do super pregnant girls do? Eat and nest. The only thing that you don't know is there was a large shake from Jake's as well. I wish I could say these two burritos were the only two this week, and that that was the only shake...
Don't worry, I wave at all the runners on these west streets of Farmington that I pass on my way to Taco Maker.
Dear Piper,
See? Despite my impatience with you and all your sass I still love you and try to do nice things for you. One day, probably not soon, you will know about all the effort and love I put into things for you. To make you happy. One day it might work. One day my creations will be sufficient for you. But until that day I will document them and then when you are older in your attempts to be the opposite of me.. you will roll your eyes at them while you sit at your office as a CEO of a big company.
Piper made her own Valentine's day holder in preschool. Mine was wadded up in her backpack.
And.. she asked why she didn't get to give Hello Kitty card.
DOH!! Just goes to show kids don't need that much to make them happy, so save your breath. Lesson learned.
I do not come from a line of homemakers. I come from a line of working moms. Single, hard working independent women. In this history there is not baking on a platter after school, healthy home cooked meals, rides home from school, homemade Valentines and Valentines holder bags, fresh linens, or no dust. Did this hurt me in any way? Did I know any better? Not really. Nonetheless my pride swells in the efforts of these things that I exude. I have to work extra hard to know how to cook, bake, clean, and sew. (or I call my friends and ask them how they do stuff."Lex, do you use pillow protectors") I am nerdy, but whatever. I own it.

I come from the same line and you are making out better then I am! Give yourself a pat on the back!
You may come from a line of single women, but your artistic-ness (is that a word?) had to come from somewhere! You're a very inspiring person. I'm glad to have ya in my life!
everything is so cute! still wish I was there to do all our projects with you. Lets definitely talk tomorrow, can't wait to see more posts
I stumbled upon your blog the other month and let me say this-you totally brighten my day! I love your attitude about things. I love your recent craft projects (especially your fabric choices).
I had to delurk when I saw those Crisp Beans. I'm also with child at the moment and let's just say that the Taco Maker drive-thru guy probably knows me by name. Yikes, but true!
Keep up the great posts.
