I love these pictures of Indie because they are just so her. Squishy crooked face, messy hair, always on the move. Busy, busy, busy. I do really wish that I have been taking cute, stylish pictures of her. But, alas, I guess with the other kids and how crazy she is I have better things to do than dress her up and make her keep headbands on and stress about cute pictures. Maybe someday soon I will take a redbull and hop-to. At least these were taking by my camera and not my phone. And no, I still can't believe she is 11 months old.
I kinda wanna eat her here.

Seems like yesterday I took these!

11 Months
My Lou is 11 MONTHS, I can not even believe it. So crazy. This year has gone by so fast. Probably because I have been the busiest I have ever been in my life thanks to this little spitfire. But we love our little Lou and can hardly believe she is 11 months old.
She is not walking but she is toying with the idea. She stands and takes a step and then sits. She waves. She says "Hi Dad" and "Mom" and "Uh oh" is adorable. She is starting to get her sense of humor, teasing and playing. She is fun. Busy, busy, busy. And very intense. She already loves her grandparents and already prefers them to me most of the time (a little early?). Her older siblings still scare her to death and she gives a nervous cry if they get a little too grabby and confident with her. She sure has a funny personality, and we love her guts.

Snoozin'

There is not enough time in the day. Especially between the hours of 8-8:00 when your kids are asleep. I stay up too late and wake up too early in order to have my own time. Time with my lover boy, time with my friends, time to workout. I never seem to regret the late nights or the early mornings, except in those moments when all heck is breaking loose and I can't seem to be patient. But hey, I made progress on my quilt, I hung with friends, and I worked out, a little snappiness is worth it, right? RIGHT?
I walked by my bed a few minutes ago and thought, oh man, I can't wait to get back in you and have you wrap your warmth around me. It was only 8:30 am.
It's gonna be a long day.
But it's FRIDAY!
Don't you wish you could survive on little sleep?

Pebbles Makes Me Happy
*Indie's recent ability to sport a pony tail.
*Krispy Kremes and the way they make my belly pop out for days. Sike!
*The Bachelor girls nights
*My neighbors in general, can't stress that enough.
*Sewing nights with friends
*My talks with Alexis-(good thing we are good on the phone).
*My morning runs
*My in laws
*Miss Lou saying, "Bye Dad."
*Giving credit when credit is due.
*GOOD friends, and the ability to establish the difference between GOOD ones and... well, not good ones.
*Jake, when he gets home from bike rides, not so much while he is out
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH just kidding.. sort of.. or not..

No Way!
No way! That is what I said when I ran across the street to meet my new neighbors and saw who it was. Shawn and I snowboarded, like every day, in college. I could even blame him for not ever going to class because he was such a good boarding buddy. But also could thank him for helping me snag Jake because snowboarding was our first date, and I had him when he realized I could keep up with him. Shawn even watched me get drug down the hill and into an ambulance when I didn't so much make a jump...
Anyway he married Stephanie and she is A-MAY-ZING! And they live across the street! And our little girls are BFF's. And my Beck will marry their Hallie. And their next one will be BFF's with Indie (cause it's gotta be a girl too, right?). And Jake and him are hilarious. Like, pretty sure they took sense of humor classes from the same professor. I mean, can life get better? It can't. I could follow this with some mushy stuff about Steph and how much I love her and needed her and think the world of her, and how grateful I am that we are friends, but she is already pregnant and emotional so I won't.
So they took us to the Jazz game last week and it was super fun. Even though our husbands are.... weird. But, again, the same kind of weird, so it works.

Look at them, like talking, and hanging out and being friends. What?? They even had on the same old green shirt and got asked, "are you gonna wear that??"
Definitely the best no way ever.

Already?
Um, Piper thinks she is a teenager already, or at least is determined to be one AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Shoot me. In the head, preferably. She likes to get dressed (after much consideration of what to wear) and prance around waiting for compliments, or me willing to take pictures of her practicing her posing. The other day she spotted a "teenager hat" that she wanted really bad. I am sure we will be posing in it shortly :)

What is this? HA HA.

Usually she insists Indie matches her, and I go with it, to avoid another ten minute blank stare into her closet while she picks something else that matches what I put Indie in, but is cute enough for her to wear.
Hi Lou Lou, don't you look innocent here.
From munchkin to teenager, who knew?
