We Be Jam-in

The girls got together for a jam making party. We made three different kinds. It was really fun, to say the least. Every time I eat toast and pb&j's I will think of all the hands of love that helped make it.
I feel very strongly about relationships and friends. I believe that women need other women, especially moms. I believe in being the best friend you can for this reason, you can never have enough friends. Each person I am friends with, whomever it is, wherever they are, they bring something different and unique to the relationship and in turn to my life. I think we can learn a lot from other people and therefore the more people we are close to and get to know the more educated and more enriched our lives are.
Whether it be how to make jam, how to bring your self esteem back up, how to get mildew out of a towell, how to deal with a family member, how to balance our life, how to train for something, or how to maintain a marriage, we all learn from each other. So to devalue our friendships is a mistake.

High AboveThe Farm-Town

This was one day.. this summer, sometime :)

We went up Farmington canyon.. far. I would tell you all about it but it's really just the pictures that tell the story. I might caption a few though, so read on.

I don't know what riparian means. I am sure my brother will tell me in the comments though.

SPARTA JANE! She pulls this face anytime you say, "You wanna __fill in the blank___?" in a high pitched voice. Kim, you know what I am talking about.

The classic "little boy from behind looking at something" picture. But it's my little boy so it's different.

Easy E.

I am out the door to go to the pool with my gals (HOLLLAAA!!), but I saw this picture from my parent's house last night and had to share, if for nothing else but to give my brother something to smile at while he is computing and programming at work :)

Because It Just Makes Me So Happy.

I know these pictures are sort of nerdy and embarassing but whatever. A few weeks ago Piper wanted to take pictures all together and after telling her we couldn't I was like fine.. I will put the camera over here. I forgot about them and they got loaded with some recent photos and I saw them and I love them. They are just so US. This is us on an everyday basis, Piper oddly dressed, I however am usually in my pajamas, not sure where I was going at the time, Beck in his comfy clothes, and shopping carts present. Someday I will look back and ache for this time of my life when my only care was how bad the messes Beck was making were :)

Sand Everywhere

But it wouldn't be summer if we didn't have sand everywhere!

This was boating at Pineview with some friends. Basically the kids just ate sand! But it was really fun and we are really glad we have such great friends surrounding us.

My Messes

This is a really good example of a second child. They get into marker and get food all over their face and clothes and that is the look they sport all day.

With the first child, they messed up their clothes and face, you bathed them, changed them and soaked their clothes in Oxy Clean.

This is Piper playing in her poop.

Just kidding, she is mashing beans for me. I love it, the older she gets, the less work there is for me. Ok.. so the more she helps the more work it is for me, but hey.. someday I won't have anyone making messes for me. I have to work on appreciating that day the most I can :)

It's a pretty hard life, I must admit when your days consist of this paired with grandparent visits and a nap.

5 Is For Sucks.

I think waking up in the 5 o clock hour should be outlawed.

And that is all I have the energy to blog about.
