The girls got together for a jam making party. We made three different kinds. It was really fun, to say the least. Every time I eat toast and pb&j's I will think of all the hands of love that helped make it.
I feel very strongly about relationships and friends. I believe that women need other women, especially moms. I believe in being the best friend you can for this reason, you can never have enough friends. Each person I am friends with, whomever it is, wherever they are, they bring something different and unique to the relationship and in turn to my life. I think we can learn a lot from other people and therefore the more people we are close to and get to know the more educated and more enriched our lives are.
Whether it be how to make jam, how to bring your self esteem back up, how to get mildew out of a towell, how to deal with a family member, how to balance our life, how to train for something, or how to maintain a marriage, we all learn from each other. So to devalue our friendships is a mistake.

This blog needs more pictures of you.
Wow, I felt you were speaking right to me. I am guilty as charged with devaluing friendships. We have always laughed at my biggest fault and there for I have been given the title of "bad friend" (in a loving joking manner). People laugh at the fact that my phone is not on my hip. I like my quiet/me time...maybe a little to much. :) I need to start taking advantage of friendships.ha. This looked like fun!
i totally agree with you on all the things you said about friendship. it seems like once andersen hit about 6 months, i really started CRAVING those good, close girlfriends that you can always feel comfortable with. that jam party looked like a blast! i have never made jam...or bread...or any other domestic type thing that requires skill. :) i'd love to learn.
i agree with jake. that was sweet, he must know he has a hot wife :)
thanks for the pictures..i've been anxiously waiting. it was a fun day with girls i LOVE. your very right-and that effort you put into friends pays off..your one of the best!
Look at you gals being domestic! You know I feel the same way about friends. The more the merrier and I love it! I have been thinking about you too:) Lagoon on Friday?
Yay for fun pictures! The house is in shambles, but it was all in the name of fun- or jam. Either way I had so much fun and can't wait to do it again!
As with everyone else, I am in full agreeance (is that even a word?!) that friendships are so important and they give you what you put into them. I love my friends and really KNOW how blessed I am to have such a close knit group of amazing girls around me!
