This is a really good example of a second child. They get into marker and get food all over their face and clothes and that is the look they sport all day.
With the first child, they messed up their clothes and face, you bathed them, changed them and soaked their clothes in Oxy Clean.

Just kidding, she is mashing beans for me. I love it, the older she gets, the less work there is for me. Ok.. so the more she helps the more work it is for me, but hey.. someday I won't have anyone making messes for me. I have to work on appreciating that day the most I can :)

It's a pretty hard life, I must admit when your days consist of this paired with grandparent visits and a nap.

i was also thinking how adorable that little apron is. also the little girl in it. i love the markers on beckett. i have definitely noticed a more lax attitude with andersen. the 2nd child doesn't get so messy yet, but andersen is for sure less likely to get a clean shirt or the goo wiped off his face for the remainder of the day!
Too funny...piper looks like she's enjoying herself. Your kitchen looks spectacular..I've heard your house is decorated so cute!
Okay...so what do you think happens when you have a third child? Or the fourth? Probably don't even dress them or feed them. They can figure it out themselves. :) haha. Just kidding. Beck is such a doll baby! He cracks me up.

i can't get over how cute your house is and how cute your kids are. if you want to hear a gross poo story i will tell you. madeline ate bird poo at the park yesterday and there was nothing i could do about it. it was nnnnnasty.
So true, I am caring less and less about my kids being perfect! I am glad though, I kinda get crazy with making sure their faces are clean and they look good. Boys are harder to keep clean though so it's making it easier not to care as much! Your kids are so darling:)
The more you get, the more you really just love them and therr messe cause their just isnt time! I would have never let Brielle run around without clothes on or her hair done, but Bens and Parks do it all the time! I also love that she is helping you mach the beans, you are such a good mommy. They need to learn to help while they are young! Cutest kiddos!
