4 Months

My little Lou Lou is 4 months. How did that happen...
This week I finally feel "on my A game." Something I know didn't happen this late in the game with the other two. Sadly, now that I feel fully functioning-the summer is over. Thus I came to the conclusion April is a little late for me to have a baby. All the next times it will be before! (times-HAHAHAH)
I was feeling guilty about how little stuff we did this summer, but I decided that was dumb :) Kids are so little for such a short time why waste it feeling the pressure to go paint the town everyday of the week and feel stress. There is nothing wrong with hanging out, playing with neighbor kids and keeping sane.
Oh, and staying in your pj's til mid afternoon. The B game is just fine too.

I took a lot of pictures of her because I was feeling sentimental.

Me and Kim had a nice time at the park :) and she pointed out how nice it is to have pictures of you. Something I am pretty bad at. "Here, take my picture!"

*Sigh*

Dear Indie Lou,

You are a volcano. I love every single thing about you, however, you make me question myself in ways I didn't know exist. You test my confidence in parenting. When I am up with you in the middle of night pacing the dark house while you are shrieking, making me cry on the front porch, and driving you to Centerville over and over at 3 am out of desperation to relieve my bleeding ears and shot patience in hopes you will fall asleep, I still love you. Although my frustration toward the world suggests otherwise. I truly hope your siblings forgive you for making me so mentally fried and in turn being impatient and short with them and consistently never having free hands to play with them or relieve them of their needs. Just remember this in a year when they are both pestering you to death. You are almost 4 months old and I am so exhausted, mentally fried, scattered and physically exerted from you that you may as well be a week old. For some strange reason, though, I can't wait for you to wake up and smile at me.

Floaties and Juice Boxes

Now that August is hit full force I am sort of panicking over the fact that summer is almost over. We just got back from a trip to Washington and I forgot my camera (what!). So here are some representative pictures for summer. We have had a pretty chill summer, with the new addition of Miss Lou (Miss Hard To Take Anywhere) along with the majority of my friends being in the exact same position and baby blues coming and going. But we have still managed to get a few good times in.

Julie taught all our kids to swim this summer, which was the highlight of my summer. A week and a half of seeing them every day. SCORE!

Here's some photos of some of my fab friends. I didn't bother taking pictures of Alexis since she was due in a like a day and knew she wouldn't let me post any of her anyway :)

Beck trying to make her happy. And then preceding to make her play with his super hero. "Make baby HAPPY." (make baby cry out in panic more like it.)

And this is now the view of our gatherings. Babies dotting the ground. If there isn't a baby in the space there is most certainly a car seat. SO WATCH YOUR STEP!

Lou-3 Months

Well Miss Lou is 3 months old. I wish I could say she was an easy baby now, or even that she cried less. I can not.

What I can say is I love her guts. Between her screaming, which is only when she isn't be held, she is bubbly and smiley and cuddly. Can you tell? Here are some of my recent photos of her in a good mood.

She loves her hand. It's really tasty.

Again, with the hand.

Occasionally, she finds her voice. But rarely, and it's always a pleasant surprise to her.
