This was our weekend up at the cabin, relaxing to say the least. I never heard how the kids faired inside...did you hear Grandma's snoring??? We made our own camp fire Whitney and Jason copycat specialty. I think ours were just as good although they take too much time to make. I wish we could go up again this weekend, although I think the Lavender Festival will be a good replacement. My mom is in love with these bluebells so, there you go mom. Good times, good times. Although I need a good picture of my dad in front of the cabin with his truck, don't you think? I mean after all as Piper says it is " Rod's house."

Weekend Adventure

So I feel like I should write something new... MMMM... what to write??
The gals are going to Cherry Hill today. It is definitely going to be interesting with the baby and the toddler. Guess I have got to figure it out though right? Let's all just hope one of them doesn't drown or by the end of it I don't drowned myself :)
That is the thing, sometimes I think man, it's a lot of work going places with two kids and by the time I am done I am so worn down I think, "Not doing that again..." But I have come to the decision that Piper deserves some adventure and fun. It's not her fault that we have a baby in the house that makes it hard for me to manage. I just have to find a way, and do the best I can. Sometimes at Jake's expense because I am exhausted by the end of it. But Piper is a great age this summer, it's definitely going to be a fun summer. Man, with all the park dates and play dates she might get sick of the park and my friend's kids.

Best Thing To Do With 1$
I believe the best thing you can do with a dollar is buy a pack of gum. That is one dollar well spent. Just think fifteen sticks later all the joy that dollar brought you.
More great dollar purchases:
-A diet coke, (think I'd forget that?)
-Ice cream cone
-A car vacuum job
-A Dove chocolate bar
-Cookies to keep your kid busy as you shop for groceries.
I was contemplating at the store whether or not to grab a pack and that is when all this critical thinking came to pass.

I hope my children look back on today,
And see a Mother who had time to play!
Children grow up while you're not looking,
There'll be years ahead for cleaning and cooking,
So quiet now, cobwebs; dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep.
-This is a poem I heard from one of my dear friends, that I believe she heard from her mother. I have it in a place I can read it often to remind me.

Title-So My Brother Doesn't Whine
It's been about four posts since I included a picture, hello, what is a blog without kid pictures in every other post? So here is one to tide you over. Little Miss Choose What I Want To Wear (and which way pants really should be worn.) P.S. if you were wondering..."I only wear pink, Mom."
