A Day Of Firsts

Yesterday was a big day for my Peanut. He had his first day of preschool and his first soccer game.

He was a little hesitant about school and very concerned on whether I was going to stay with him, then once he got there and they said "go get your prize, say bye to your mom" he said bye mom and was off. It definitely helped that he had gone with me dozens of times to take Pipe so it was all familiar. But I seriously can't believe he is this old. He came out with a huge dinosaur coloring book and cars crayons, and a big happy smile.

Then he had his first soccer game and low and behold he found his calling! Ok, he is 3, but he scored like 6 goals, (I totally count the two going the wrong way). It was so good to see him get in there and be confident. He is such a home body and so quiet and sweet most of the time just being content to play in his room alone with his cars. Usually playing second seat to all the older cousins and Piper he is surrounded by. He had sooo much fun he kept stopping off to the sidelines to hug and kiss me and tell me he loves me! Ah.. what a big day for Mr. Peanut.

He is getting so big and looking a lot different. What happened to our baby boys?! I'm glad he did so well that makes it much easier on us Mommies:)
